Substrate fixings
Designed to fix substrates securely in a façade system, our range of substrate anchors and fasteners are manufactured to ISO 9001 quality management standards, and meet relevant standards for performance.
Approved for use in both cracked and non-cracked concrete, our range of substrate anchors are designed to achieve exceptional loads with fewer anchors. With a variable working life, guidance covers the use of anchors used in different applications – including wet conditions and outdoor areas.
Assuring you of the structural integrity of your rainscreen, regardless of the application.
Metal expanding anchors
APX & APA4 steel expanding anchors for fixing façade brackets to cracked and non-cracked concrete – with a tried and tested expansion clip to ensure the highest load bearing capacity, reducing the number of fixings required.
All anchors are Opt.1 ETA assessed for maximum reliability.
Nylon expanding anchors
ETA approved MFR fixings for fastening non-structural systems to solid and hollow building materials with a low anchorage depth. With options available in A4/316 grade stainless steel or zinc plated carbon steel, these fixings are suitable for a wide range of substrates, including cracked and non-cracked concrete.
Suitable for fixing façade brackets to concrete and masonry, these anchors include a long expansion element with two anchorage depths make it a versatile option suitable for multiple applications.
Concrete screws
TXE and TFE screws for fixing to masonry and concrete substrates - ETA approved and available in A4/316 grade stainless and zinc-plated steel, with 2 installation depths at 50mm and 70mm, and a R120 fire rating for maximum performance.
Resin anchor systems
Threaded rods in A4/316 grade stainless steel and zinc plated steel – for use with resin capsules and resin injection cartridges.
Approved for use in concrete and masonry.
Self-drilling fasteners
A2/304 & A4/316 grade stainless steel fasteners for fixing to light steel substrates – hex or low profile headed to match the façade.
Durable fasteners to last the lifetime of the building – whether inside the façade support system, or as part of the external panel of the building; our fasteners are built to last.
Steel Grades
Carbon or zinc-plated steel
Carbon steel is suitable for use in internal or external applications in non-corrosive, non-coastal environments.
All our carbon steel fasteners feature a corrosion-resistant organic coating which provides lubrication for ease of drilling while also preventing damage to the steel.
Stainless Steel A2/304
Our A2/304 Stainless Steel fasteners provide excellent corrosion resistance and are suitable for use in medium risk corrosivity environments, or on projects using Aluminium sheeting or components.
Stainless Steel A4/316
A4/316 Stainless Steel is a super-austenitic alloy containing high levels of molybdenum, nitrogen and nickel – ensuring it is highly resistant to corrosion, tarnishing and stress.
